Hi, I'm Mike!

With more than 40 years of experience in finance and mortgage lending, Michael Schwartz brings extensive industry knowledge and a relationship-driven approach to every client he serves.


Michael began his career in 1984 after earning a Finance degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He moved into mortgage lending in the late 1980s and went on to lead the Mortgage Department at Guardian Credit Union before joining the team he has been part of since 2003. Michael joined Luminate Bank in 2026.


Licensed to lend in all 50 states, Michael primarily serves borrowers in Wisconsin and has extensive experience with Conventional mortgages, first-time homebuyer financing and second-home loans. He also brings experience in construction lending and home equity financing.


Michael takes pride in helping clients find financing that fits their individual goals and circumstances. His decades of experience give him the perspective to navigate the mortgage process with confidence and personalized guidance.
